Our stylish bed and breakfast accommodation and modern home is spectacularly sited on a hilltop overlooking the picturesque Waianakarua river valley and surrounded by 2 hectares (5 acres) of garden containing hundreds of different plants. Enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty when you stay in tastefully furnished bedrooms, two with en-suites and TV. After a sumptuous farm cooked breakfast, explore the farm and hand feed friendly sheep and alpacas. Take a stroll through the forest, beside the river, in native bush complete with waterfalls and birds, or play a round on the golf course.
Later, watch fur seals and penguins at a nearby, secluded Moeraki beach, not far from the famous boulders. Then why not complete a perfect day with our gourmet 3 course dinner with fine NZ wine before snuggling down for a peaceful sleep in the fresh country air.

Experience Farm Life
For those who wish to experience a taste of farm life, we can share our lifetime experiences spent in large scale farming and forestry. On this small farm we have sheep and 2 alpacas which you are welcome to hand feed. In spring and early summer there are lambs to be fed, and year round you can explore farm, river and bush walks on the property. Glen Dendron has 1km of river frontage so in summertime the river is a great place to relax, explore, enjoy a picnic or a swim.

We can plan customized itineraries for you to enjoy the many attractions of the area. Or take time out to recover from jetlag or to recharge the batteries! You are welcome to relax in the garden or lounge and browse the bookcases.
